Research Statement

My research experience integrates creativity and socio-technical approaches to exploring AI and ethics. I have contributed to IEEE standards and frameworks, as well as ICT policy research in the UK and Antigua & Barbuda, shaping ethical and regulatory approaches to emerging technologies. Experienced in working independently and collaboratively within transdisciplinary teams to produce high-quality research outputs and evidence-based guidance. Education and technology specialist with a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, focusing on data ethics, AI, XR, and education. My work integrates biometrics (EEG brainwaves, pose estimation), AI, and extended reality (XR) to raise awareness of data ethics alongside practical and design skills in creative computing. My background bridging technology, ethics, and education positions me to make significant contributions to advancing ethically informed socio-technical safety and ethics of AI systems alongside creative technologies.
